Eura Mobil is a manufacturer of caravans that are “made in Germany“.
With headquarters in Rhineland-Palatinate, they have over 50 years of experience in the production of caravans and motorhomes. After successfully equipping of the “Integra” model with technical plastic sections for the front grill and headlight covers, Westiform has now also equipped the new “Integra Line” motorhome with a new elegantly finished rear-end system, a front grill and headlight covers to give the front of the vehicle a more elegant appearance.
The challenge in this contract was to implement the demanding design of the front and rear appliqués on the Integra model so that the components could be manufactured in a deep-draw process. The expertise from Westiform – artful engineering, quality, economical manufacturing – came to fruition here.
For the radiator grille, an important design element on the front of the vehicle, Westiform used ABS-electroplated plastics. In a deep-draw process, this is warmed up until it is flexible and then suctioned on to the deep-draw tool especially designed for Eura Mobil. Once cooled, the plastic maintains the shape this created. After the deep-draw process, the radiator grille is then given an electroplated chrome layer, which gives the surface an elegant surface finish. The headlight covers are also chrome, which adds elegance to the front of the vehicle.
From the technical consultation to the concept, development, and manufacture up to logistics, Westiform is the general contractor that provides the full service for the mobile caravan manufacturer.
