Works by renowned Swiss photographer Tobias Madörin are illuminated with Westiform LED technology. The large-scale illuminated transparencies are mounted on plexiglass and installed on LED light boxes.
The analogue photographs by Tobias Madörin were developed and affixed to Duraclear, which is a large-scale illuminated transparency with unrivalled resolution. The images were then mounted on plexiglass covers and installed on light boxes only six centimetres deep.
The photographs’ exceptional depth of focus, which draws onlookers right into the image, is perfectly enhanced by LED technology especially developed by Westiform for this product. The illumination is homogenous and colourfast right up to the corners and edges. The luminous intensity is infinitely adjustable, and the already low energy consumption is reduced proportionately.
The works by Tobias Madörin are privately owned by a Zurich law firm and Zurich’s Bar 3000. Scan and image processing is done by Tricolor; mounting is performed by Müller’s Aufziehservice.
