Westiform has designed the foyer of a building in Zurich which Vontobel recently occupied. Digital and analogue means of communication complement each other in ideal fashion. Furniture made of marsh oak discreetly encloses the communication equipment.
With Westiform, Vontobel has a partner who implemented the project from A to Z. Services included consultancy, prototyping, application for approval from the authorities, production of digital signage elements as well as installation and commissioning of the communication and furniture elements.
The remit included the equipment of two large-scale display windows and the foyer area. During the process of implementation, the Westiform specialists ensured that analogue and digital communication complement each other in a meaningful and pleasing way: Double-sided, filigree wf I Mira illuminated transparencies act as elegant advertising media both inside and outside. Several 55" displays serve the purpose of dynamic product placement and customer information.
The communication elements feature made-to-measure furniture made of marsh oak and blend harmoniously into the surroundings. A generously proportioned A4 brochure rack is integrated in two items of furniture. The content on the slim-line displays is reproduced in high range resolution. Westiform is responsible for the server hosting as well as for maintenance and data backup.
The wf I Mira illuminated transparencies can be dimmed to the correct level for the current light conditions. They are connected via the facility management system with a tablet computer operated by the reception staff. The three illuminated lettering units for exterior identification, as well as a range of film lettering and directional system elements, were also supplied by Westiform.
