What are your responsibilities?
- Systematic implementation of purchasing market analyses in the fields of steel construction, metal construction and sheet metal processing
- Setup and maintenance of a promising network of partners and a reliable portfolio of suppliers
- Commercial and technical supplier support including personal visits on site
- Securing test deliveries
- Negotiating delivery and quality agreements, prices, bonus policies, framework agreements and call-off quantities
- Quality assurance in collaboration with the travelling technicians of Westiform Germany
- Ongoing reporting to Supply Chain Management in Germany
What do you bring with you?
- Technical training in the field of steel, metal or sheet metal construction, as well as commercial advanced training
- At least three years of experience in purchasing at a production operation in steel, metal or sheet metal processing
- Know-how in negotiating contracts
- Native language Czech, fluent spoken and written English, spoken German advantageous
- Well-versed in MS Office (Excel and Word) and Outlook
- Knowledge of purchasing sources for steel, metal or sheet metal processing advantageous
- Good powers of comprehension, high willingness to learn and motivation for
- the demanding area of responsibility
- High degree of flexibility, mobility and willingness to travel within the context of supplier visits
- Systematic and resultorientated mode of working, as well as “can-do” qualities
- A responsible and reliable personality
